WHY?

 

The perennial question!

 

I think this is actually the first question

most humans learn to ask;

and we never tire of asking it,

which is a good thing

because presumably we'd all still be eating

grass and berries

in caves

if our ancestors had never asked,

"Why?"

or its closely related siblings,

"What if...?" and "Why not...?"
